I’m the founder of Inch pepples, a child-centred support service focused on helping children make progress through small, meaningful steps at a more affordable cost
.
I have experience working as a Speech and Language Therapy Assistant and supporting children across early years and primary school settings, including mainstream classrooms, 1:1 support roles, and specialist base units. My role has involved working closely with children to help put strategies and targets set by Speech and Language Therapists and Occupational Therapists into practice in ways that feel achievable, consistent and supportive.
I hold a Level 3 qualification in Understanding Autism and have a strong foundation in EYFS practice. I have supported children with a range of additional needs, including autistic children and those with speech, language, communication and sensory needs, adapting my approach to suit each child as an individual.
Alongside my professional experience, I am also a parent to a neurodivergent child. This lived experience has given me a deep understanding of the realities families face and the importance of practical, realistic support that fits into everyday life, not just written reports.
Inch Steps was created to bridge the gap between professional recommendations and daily practice. I believe that when children feel safe, understood and supported—and when the adults around them feel confident in what they are doing—real progress can happen. Small steps, taken consistently, can lead to big goals.
